Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills or stains) in one go without having to swap out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living areas.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, as well as a selection of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you want for each room.
For example, you can decide to let the robot clean up the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only drawback is that the robot is known to smash into walls and objects at full speed. 2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. The model this year has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pull up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners may overlook.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to can help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It then can alter its course in a way that is automatic and clean around the objects without stumbling.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also packed with features. Its sleek, angular design is striking, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.
The only downside I've discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to take off the mount to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model which is a pity considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with its innovative features, top suction power and cutting-edge mowing abilities. Its intelligent design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry mess, including pet hair and crumbs. It also comes with a high-quality mop that leaves floors spotlessly clean, even with a wet pad. The X40 is also extremely quiet when in operation and only occasionally bursting during mode changes or self-maintenance.

This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks sophisticated and classy. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this list however it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
