The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of the best navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.
It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.
The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and fallen books.
Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever tried. It doesn't make the same volume of sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to be aware of this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and adaptable cleaning machine.
The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the home, detect furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean efficiently and efficiently. This will result in an efficient, consistent clean which is also relatively fast.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop that is, it can do mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two modules which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module that has a microfiber pad. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean you don't have to fret about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. This made it easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option of setting "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers that help to keep certain areas of your home from being cleaned with a mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of collecting hair from pets. It was able to collect some of the hair that our cats shed, and even got into some of the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low, and there were some nice jingles to let you know that it was beginning and getting its work done.
Its main drawbacks were its simple app and the need to swap out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't contain multiple maps, which can be a pain for homes with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.
The base comes with a few control buttons that let you manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.
Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognising objects.
Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. This is a rare event however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert in its application.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.
robot hoover looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big change from the utilitarian all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
